I’m a music nut. Really, I like my music. I like to play it, and I like to play it loud. I live on the 7th floor, but it doesn’t stop me from cranking up Rock Band and stomping on the foot pedal like a madman. I haven’t had any complaints. Yet. Review: Spore – Child’s Play

Spore. Eight years in development. Three years of hype. It’s a shame it doesn’t live up to either. This game was created by Maxis, the same people that brought us The SIMS – and looking back further in history, SimCity, SimEarth, SimAnt, SimLife, SimFarm, SimHealth, … I’m still waiting for SimKitchenSink. They have a long history of simulations, and I can’t judge them on the quality of Spore in that realm. But, I played SimEarth, SimCity, and The Sims, and I remember there being a lot more to those.

Review: Too Human is Too Average

I remember the days of Diablo 2. Those were good days. They were so good, in fact, that they spawned a range of clones, ports, and mostly failed attempts to use some of the better features. Too Human, sadly, is one of these attempts. I do give the developers props for an otherwise decent game, though there are issues.
